We chanced on O Bioco and sat down without much thought. Since our Spanish is rudimentary (and our Galician worse), we put ourselves in the hands of our friendly waiter, who promptly brought out an acceptable bottle of Rioja. Suffice it to say that things rapidly got out of hand two portions (gluttony) of clams and a portion of periwinkles, with a box of dressmaker's pins. Then, seeing a patron enjoying a bowl of the soup of the day, we each had one, too delicious potato and spinach. Finally, needing something meaty, we had a dish of the most succulent beef imaginable. ¡Ostras! ¡Ostras salvajes! Leí en un artículo que era el mejor sitio para comer ostras de Pontevedra. Son ostras salvajes, muy diferentes a las de cultivo. Buenísimas las ostras, las cigalas y las percibes. Y la recomendación del vino, en copas, que te sale muy bien de precio. Una decoración moderna en un local de piedra. Mucha amabilidad.
Well worth a visit the bar serves first class local wines and food. We had delicious local oysters and the best white wine godello) we tasted on our trip. There were some interesting mushrooms on offer as well and we certainly would have returned had we had time. The service was extremely friendly and a visit is highly recommended
Ha sido una de las mejores cenas de mi vida, no estrellas michelin ni nada, comer producto del bueno, sino el mejor, y encima con Monica como responsable del local, encantadora, simpática, currante, excelente persona, no tengo palabras para describir mi experiencia con ella y su producto, lo mejor de Pontevedra sin duda alguna

They collect oysters in the blue Atlantic all around, but you find them nowhere in the restaurants! So the oysters in O Bioco might be the only ones in Pontevedra; anyhow they are extraordinarily fresh, tasty delicious. No lemon, no vinegar, just plane. So good just with local Ribeira white wine. Enjoy!
Ya no solo la calidad del producto, sino que la calidad del servicio, el trato recibido ha sido excelente. Monica ha hecho de O bioco una parada obligatoria para aquel que pase por Pontevedra. Precio más que asequible para un marisco de primera calidad.
Lo mejor del mundo mejor en manos de una experta del producto. Todo fresquísimo, delicioso, excelente. La preparación exquisita, la presentación impecable. Parada indispensable para amantes del marisco en Pontevedra.
Las mejores ostras que he probado. La atención de Mónica espectacular. Se nota que conoce el producto que ofrece. La carta de vino también esta muy buena para maridar la carta. Recomendable 100%.
