Best place on the whole beach! (We tried about 80 90% of all the beach bars from caparica to telha) Its a family run restaurant/bar the owners and the staff are very friendly and the owning couple does very nice aka very strong mojitos. Even the food is great (especially considering that its 'just ' a beach bar/restaurant). Try the carapao, a local fish, somewhat like a big sardine. Its easy to reach by foot and not too far away from the main beach of caparica (about 15min) totally worth it, since you will be rewarded with a less crowded part of the beach, good food, good drinks and a very welcoming family!
Been there in April 2017 twice. One of the best beaches and best views in Lisbon. All we tried was amazing: fresh and delicious fish, grilled cuttlefish and very good wine at reasonable prices. Friendly and open-hearted host who was very nice to tell us about Portuguese cuisine (so sorry we never asked what her name was). She kindly made for us wonderful home-style pastéis de bacalhau even though it was not on the menu. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who values atmosphere and vibes and simple food. Would definitely come back next time we're in Lisbon!
I stayed on the beach with my family and everything here was so amazing! We had several meals here and the staff was incredible. We ordered off menu and they made us a wonderful meal and the food seemed to never stop. We came back all afternoon and they made us special drinks and a traditional dinner to end our vacation. We were so glad we came and could spend the last big night with Carla and her family!
Excelente intervalo para almoço. Excepcional enquadramento balnear com vista para o mar e para o imenso areal. Serviço amigável e eficiente, apesar da barreira linguística. Cozinha fresca e generosa. Excellente pause déjeuner. Cadre sur la plage exceptionnel avec vue sur la mer et la plage immense. Service sympathique et efficace malgré la barrière de la langue. Cuisine fraîche et généreuse. Prix doux ce qui ne gâche rien. À faire et à refaire pour les escapade à la plage lors des visites à Lisbonne.
What a great family run restaurant. Catered to our large family requests. Even the 8 year old daughter helped serve. Helped us try traditional food and took requests. Would go to Portugal again. And definitely visit this restaurant.
Quanto ao local turístico a comida era boa. Sugiro experimentar polvo grelhado e picanha. Eu recomendo o lugar
