we've been in and around obidos for a week. that was the best dinner we had. that included eating in the Michelin-star restaurant of caldas de rainha. That was better. the place is casual and the decor makes fun. we had really interesting and unusual. this consisted of anal, wild boar, wilderness and bark meat. plus an egg and asparagus appetizer and bleeding with game meat in it. I would never have ordered all these things not to be recommended by some local friends who eat here regularly. the personal was friendly and funny, but her English is limited. Oh, I almost forgot the desserts were fabulous. berries with quantities and saw, plus strawberry sponge cake.
Fomos ao Melro pela crítica positiva que tem no Google. Quando lá chegámos foi nos sugerido o prato do dia. Tentamos pedir um prato do menu, mas disseram que não seria possível porque estavam à espera de um grupo grande de cerca de 20 pessoas. Optamos pelos pratos do dia que efetivamente eram bons. As sobremesas tinham óptimo aspecto, mas não nos foi explicado o que eram. Acabamos a nossa refeição e o grupo de 20 pessoas não chegou. Concluo com: comida boa e serviço a melhorar.
It is an excellent restaurant with delicious cuisine. Their seafood plates are enormous, very tasty and reasonably priced. There is a good wine list, attentive and rapid service and a lot of tasty desserts. Also they have very enjoyable live music programs in the evening.

I can not recommend this place very much, a little hidden gem that eat is excellent, and the staff is so friendly, they can really not do enough for them, can not wait to visit again, my new favorite restaurant
