O Mexicain - Tisch reservieren

We were in the area visiting some of the war memorials. While trying to decide on dining options, we punched in Mexican restaurants on the GPS. When we arrived in the town it struck us that O Mexican seem to be one of the nicer places in the towns business area. Having not eaten much that day we were ready to sit down to some seriously good Mexican fare. As we walked up to the door at approximately 6pm the place was in darkness. I'm not sure if it's a regular occurrence but it didn't open until 7pm. Luckily none of the other places in town caught our fancy. Once in, the staff treated us like gold. You felt very well cared for. The food was good, but I felt that some of it need d to be warmer...

O mexicain is probably the nicest place in lens. We had lunch on a Friday noon. We started with appetizers: nachos and chorizo. Both very nice. We had the golden margerita, a bit strong but very good. We had steak for main course, we asked rare and it perfectly grilled. We also had a Irish coffee, where was the coffee ? Price is reasonable.

I emailed them to book a table and they did not bother to reply and I can see that the email was sent. I am sure that it would have been nice but we didn’t have the chance to book or even reschedule. Instead we went to la pain de bouche which was across the road and it was excellent.

Best restaurant in town, you have to try it! The food was magnifique and the prices are affordable, compared to other restaurants.

I love this place. Their plates are so good and the owner is the nicest person in the world. Would definitely go again!
