our tour group “Beyond band of Brothers” by ~50 has stopped here during a week on the normandie d day tour for lunch in falaise. the service and eating were one of the best lunches we had all week. the staff was gracious, happy to explain everything, and was very attentive. the food was delicious! I'd eat here in a definitive way if I come back without a group.
we haven't eaten here for a few years, as the restaurant was marketed separately from the hotel (which was then a favorite of us with the quirky waiter.) I can't eat what was great, and I was particularly impressed by. the wine list, which was very good, but it needs atmosphere to create a complete and special culinary experience that will attract diner again.
not cheap, but an incredible price for an incredible meal. go before it gets a star. Not to say, but if the chef makes his take on a tart lemon, it's amazing.
The food not only looked fantastic it tasted it. The food was first class and the service impeccable.
