We had a family celebration and the kids chose this restaurant. We had our own room which was very nice and great for 6-8 people. Service was excellent. Server was helpful with the menu and was attentive. We had a range of dishes. Chicken katsu was nicely cooked. The large thicker noodles along with a beef teriyaki dish was exceptionally good. The sushi was fresh and appetizing. We had several different types as appetizers and the crab and tuna based ones were the favourites. Recommended for a special get together.
We were staying within walking distance of this downtown hotel so just walked in without a reservation. We had the choice of the dining room or lounge, chose the dining room; next time the lounge. Great variety of Japanese cuisine from sushi to rice and noodle bowls; deserts to choose from, too. For two of us we had a noodle/shrimp soup and a pork noodle dish--both were very large and couldn't be eaten up. Decor and servers were true to the theme; reasonably-timed service and good attention. We'll go back.
We went here for dinner with another couple on Saturday evening and it was very busy. It has been awhile since we were at O-Sho's but our friends come here quite often. My wife and I had the salmon tempura dinner and California maki with miso soup. Although it was busy, we were served fairly quickly and the food was hot and flavorful. This is a favorite restaurant for many people in Lethbridge and we certainly recommend it.
We have eaten at this restaurant many times, work and home. I was frustrated today as we have ordered a rainbow roll in the past and substituted mango for sashimi. Today we asked them to do this and they said they could not. We have migrated over to Lighthouse and likely will continue to go there more often. Sorry Osho, we have been customers for over 17 years. Food and service is exellent. You can choose to sit at a table or a traditional Japanese booth. The service and food has never let me down. Been here many times. Extensive menu with lots of choices for sushi lovers and those that only like the cooked sushi. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
We had a large group book for dinner. 30 people. The wait staff were really helpful and the food was delicious! There was a bit of confusion when the food came, and we didn't get everything that was ordered, but there was plenty to go around. Would definitely go again!
I've eaten at many Japanese restaurants because it is my favourite. This is by far the best. Every meal fresh. Staff knowledgeable and very prompt. Will be back again and again and again!

We had sushi takeout from the west side restaurant and it was made fresh after the order was placed and was truly excellent sushi!
