Super cool mix of kinda retro and minimal decor, while keeping an inviting atmosphere. The bartenders know their stuff--a good mix fun fruity cocktails, and more classic ones. Loved drinking their (delicious) gimlet out of the glass cooler bottle--sounds silly but the bottle allowed for some solid hand maneuverability, which comes in handy when you're dancin. They also have some excellent beers on tap!
Came to check out this new bar with some friends on their opening night this past weekend and we were not disappointed. I was really impressed with how unique and well-made their drinks were, plus the service at the bar was fantastic. The music was also great and the artwork along the walls added a cool touch. The bar gives off a retro type vibe which is really refreshing. Will definitely be back!
Easily my new go-to spot on Ossington From the art pieces along the walls, to the drinks, to the music you can tell it's put together purposefully and sets the kind of vibe Ossington go-ers are looking for. Had a super friendly experience with the bar staff while trying out a couple of their cocktails. Order a Paper Plane or one of their coolers if you find yourself here, you can thank me later!
New and trendy bar in an up and coming place. If you are looking for a authentic Toronto experience, I highly suggest going to Oak Island. You will get a sense of the young spirit Toronto has, and will be greeted by many cool features such as their tropical sounds in the bathroom and their wide variety of drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed everything this bar has to offer!
Came in on Oak Island 's opening night and the experience was ace. I ordered a Tom Collins which had the perfect amount of gin. Then I also tried their own 'brand ' of a pre-made cocktail concoction which was served in a vintage soda pop bottle! It was very flavorful. Overall, I 'm happy to see that this is Ossington 's newest bar fixture and will definitely be back.
Such a cool bar in such a cool area. Stumbled across it when we were deciding where to go while walking on Ossington. Awesome location, right across the street from Baby Huey's but an even better vibe. Super airy and trendy with awesome music and even better drinks. We didn't want to leave! Definitely will be back again.
Went on Saturday for the opening night and felt like I was on a Wes Anderson film set. If you are like me and appreciate attention to detail, Oak Island is a must see! Or, if you are also like me and enjoy delicious cocktails, tranquil bathrooms and sweet disco, Oak Island is a must see! Thank me later.
Definitely my new go-to spot on Ossington! Really cool vibes, great music, and the bathrooms are very insta-worthy. Try the pisco punch, or literally any one of the coolers! They're delicious and very well-crafted. Will definitely be back!
Really nice lounge with great music, its only small inside when it is packed with people during the night and that would happen anywhere. The vibe is just right along with the drink prices and private bathrooms. I will defiantly go back!
