Had a wonderful lunch at Oaklands Hall. Entertainment was provided by the lovely Natalie Cuifo (aka Ain’t Misbehavin’ The meal was scrumptious and a cut above. Where else can you get Monkfish and Thai crab cakes, on a February Sunday in Hyde? The meal was finished off with a super delicious lemon cheesecake, cheese and biscuits and coffee. We were well looked after with table service from the staff who I cannot praise too highly and led by Liv, front of house . I don t know how they do it for the money . Oaklands Hall was booked for my wife's birthday party. As it was a surprise it involved her being guided in blindfolded. I was hugely impressed with this venue from initial discussions about the buffet to the night itself. Management were very courteous and helpful in all our engagements with them, and the general staff were always polite and efficient. The food arrived punctually at the requested time and was of a very high standard indeed. Many of the guests commented to me on how excellent the catering was. I can’t rate this place higher than I already do. We arrange a fundraiser and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our function went without a hitch. Special mention to Lauren and Liv. Also thanks to Matteo and his catering team. The meal was fantastic, very filling and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend. They do theme nights so look out for them being advertised.
We were here for our diamond wedding anniversary with 30 adults and five children. The menu had five choices for each three courses. With tea and coffee included. The service was excellent, just the right amount between courses. Bar staff and waiting on staff were efficient and patient. Overall a very good experience. Would highly recommend for any functions. I ordered a Tapas Meal Take away for New Years Eve. It was wonderful. The timings on the instructions were spot on, everything was really tasty. They even provided me with a meal for one! Super customer service ....and definitely customer satisfaction
Our family celebration ended up being quite costly. Three pints, one vodka, and one WKD cost us £25! Be prepared to spend a lot if you want to have a few drinks. The decor of the restaurant is nice, but it is a bit outdated.
