I ordered 2 larges dishes, pictured below. The price difference of large and small was about 10 dollars each. I've never seen a bigger scam in my life. Both dishes cost kebabs for 52 dollars! What a joke, their food is good, but this is a complete rip off. In any other restaurant you go, if they are just giving you 2 skewers it's like 12/13 bucks. According to them, their small is one skewer for $12.
Stopped on our way to JFK with our two kids. Meant to go to another restaurant that turned out to be closed so walked down the street and randomly saw OBA that looked inviting. Long story short we got the most fantastic meal! The mixed grill was such an interesting and fun dish to share and the baby okras were delicious. We will be back next time we have time before a flight out of JFK.
The food at this restaurant is okay but the portions are small. My order was incorrect and the wrap I ordered was not fully stuffed and not even cut in half. I was also disappointed to receive only four pieces of meat in my kebab, which cost $20 and came with a missing side. Additionally, the checkers fries, although tasty, were quite expensive at $7 for a small order.
Upon seating, we were served hot bread with 3 dipping condiments olive oil with olives, dill yogurt sauce and a spicy sauce. The staff was really nice and very informative. We started our dinner with the calamari; which was fresh and fried with a batter to a golden crisp. Then we had some eggplant salad to go with the adana kebab we ordered. Great meal as always! The food at this restaurant is excellent, although slightly expensive. The level of service and quality of the food definitely make it worth the price. My only suggestion would be to update the outdoor dining area and provide more of the delicious table bread. Other than that, it was fantastic.
As a native of Turkey, I can attest to the authenticity of the Turkish food served at this restaurant. If you are in search of genuine Turkish cuisine, this is the place to go. I highly recommend trying their lahmacun. Overall, I rate the food 5 out of 5 stars.
The bread hot and delicious, the meat very tasty and one delicious flavor their baklava! We tried falafel and a dish with cheese and turkey. Absolutely one of my fav places forever. The service is also ????!

Top 3 Turkish restaurants in NYC! The lentil soup, shepherd's salad, mixed grill, baklava, and kunefe were perfect. If you're in the mood for Turkish food, this is the place to go.
