Food prices were high, but we expected that with a location on the River. What we didn’t expect was for the food to be literally tossed onto our table by the waiter on paper plates. Yes, paper plates! A cob salad, at the cost of $18 was still in the plastic container it had been bought in. Served with a packet of Newman’s ranch and plastic utensils. We saw the same salad at the deli in the Palmer Hotel a day later for $9.50. All that was missing from the cob salad served at O’Briens was the lid that fitter the container. We also had two chicken sliders, one on a bun and one on a piece of lettuce. Tasty, but not worth the money or the paper plate it was served on. Wine came in a plastic cup....

Way Over priced for what you actually get- dry, disgusting burgers and a small lump of over fried fries.Drinks are served in chinsy plastic cups.Service is almost always wonky and rarely friendly.Skip this place unless you really want a drink and head to many of the better restaurants in the river.
one of the men who works here was pretentious and racist when he greeted us, thankfully not our server. the wait was pretty long for some lazy put together food. wine was servers in plastic as wel as other utensils and the waiter made us pay right in front of her on her device which is convenient but also shes staring right down your shoulder when you put in your tip :
It was a lovely Sunday, and we were pleased to find that we could get a seat. The atmosphere was great for people watching. However, the food was pretty much standard bar fare—nothing exceptional. The service was also slow, likely due to the busy weekend crowd. Overall, I felt it was overpriced for what we received.

The views are absolutely stunning, and the food and drinks are great, served on environmentally-friendly plates and cups. It's also dog-friendly! As a local, I believe the views of the river and bridges here definitely rank among the top 10 most beautiful places to visit in Chicago. I highly recommend it!
We won't be back. McDonald's level service and food for $17 a plate, a paper plate.. Gave my wife 2 bottom buns. Put pickles on her plain burger. Never saw our waiter until it was time to pay. And seriously- 3.50 for a can of soda.
They don’t have free water, they gave us a hard time about moving tables, the shoestring fries were regular fries. The lemonade was watered down as was my friend’s Arnold Palmer. Best thing about this place is the location.
It is a very nice place, with very nice views. If they had a slightly larger menu, the number of customers would undoubtedly improve? In other words, I feel that the best thing about the place is its location.

So so drinks in small solo cups. Don't get the Bellini! Wedge blt salad actually pretty good. Boneless chicken wings are a cruel hoax... Really tiny nuggets any fast food joint would be too ashamed to serve.
