Ocean Alley is in an amazing location on the boardwalk of Hollywood beach. Its a great place to stop for a bite to eat. We stopped here twice for breakfast. They seem to always be very busy. The service could be a little better, something seemed to never make it to the table. If it was a beverage or salsa or syrup. It always took a while to get someones attention to get it brought over. The servers were all very nice. The prices were really reasonable compared to some of the other restaurants on the boardwalk. Right after our food was served, the waiter announced that he would be giving us our checks because he was leaving. I totally understand that, having been a server myself. However, he then stood right by our table, staring at us until we finished eating and could sign the checks. We had barely taken two bites! This was incredibly unprofessional and rude, something I've never experienced before. After collecting our completed checks, he didn’t return to see if we needed anything, nor did any other staff members.

We were so impressed that we returned the next day for lunch. I had the quesadilla, while my wife chose chicken fingers. Both dishes were served quickly and were delicious and filling. Once more, the owner took the time to check on our meal and remembered us from the day before. He was sweet to our daughter again, surprising her with a kiwi. The warm hospitality made us feel welcome during our vacation.

The first night we went it was amazing. Our waitress was great and the drinks were on spot. We went back the next night and was greeted by an angry hostess who was rude when I asked if we could get menus then we were told we had to eat if we were going to drink so I ordered some onion rings and asked to get them to go because my drink was terrible and her attitude made us not want to stay. When I asked if they had any ketchup for my to go order she shook a bottle of ketchup at me ?!? She was horrible and then said don’t worry I included my tip on the total ! So many other good places to go on the strip I would stay away from this place.

My friends and I had an amazing experience at Ocean Alley! The food was tasty, and the service was outstanding! I think our waitress's name was Jordan, and she was a true delight. We saw her manage a challenging customer with such grace and patience. Once again, the food was fantastic, and the view is unbeatable! I visit the Fort Lauderdale area often, and I will definitely return! I can’t believe I didn’t discover this little gem sooner!
Great food, live music, good service, relaxed atmosphere, beach front. Got the crab cakes and a house salad. It was delicious and fresh, paired with Prosecco. Live acoustic music started at 6:00 and was fantastic!!! The singer was entertaining and honored all sorts of requests!! Looking forward to mothers next time business brings back to town so I can enjoy Ocean Alley again!
Listen you can't beat the views, the live music and overall atmosphere-this is what you pay for at the beach. You don't come here forGourmet food. The guy on the guitar was great. Nothing beats sea breeze in your hair and live music!
I have always loved this place! A true beach experience. Last night I had fish and chips, my friend had shrimp tacos. Portions, fresh, and tasted awesome. Daniel and Grace were fabulous. Ocean Alley never disappoints.Food: 5/5
