My husband and I have been enjoying the food and great service of this restaurant since friends took us about 8 months ago. Last week we decided to order a pizza, (one we have ordered many times while we ate in) For pick up along with their Greek salad with dressing on the side. Picked up pizza and headed home only to see that the pizza was way over done,almost burnt, and the double toppings we were charge for were no where to be seen, as well as the dressing put on top of the salad not on the side. First visit to the Pub and liked it except I wish I had ordered their specialty - the pizza. Four of us went to the pub for a leisurely dinner. Lots of room so we had no trouble being seated. I ordered fish and chips. My wife ordered a steak sandwich done medium are - she like it pink but not ****. The other couple both ordered shepherd's pie. Didn't take long for the food to arrive and just before it did, a couple beside us received their order - a delicious looking thin crust pizza. My fish and chips were okay, not anything special, except the portion was not very large. My husband and I love this place! We always eat here after a day in White Rock. It's so much better than fighting for parking down on the beach strip and paying for parking down there and always worried about getting a ticket. Today we had burgers and fries and it was awesome! The burgers were huge and tasted home made and there were plenty of big fat fries to fill us up. Every time we eat here we go away happy. Our server was just a good old fashioned happy guy and we all had a good time. A comfortable clean atmosphere with many options of seating to choose from. Thank you, we'll see you soon.
Disappointed with a recent visit to the Ocean Park pub. Greek salad was quite good, atmosphere was ok, but the chicken quesadilla was probably the worst I have had. Hopefully it was just a one off but there was very little filling in it. Wines were a bit pricey compared with their competition in White Rock. Convenient location for South Surrey residents, free parking after the Horrors of busy White Rock. Excellent menu and great food, well served by pleasant efficient staff.Crab stuffed mushroom caps to die for! more than enough for my wife and I, huge portions and the entire meal served piping hot. Comprehensive selection of Wines and Beers to compliment a wonderful Lunch experience. Highly Recommended!
Great family restaurant and pub. Always busy for dinner. Service is good. Servers attentive and personable. Good selection of beers (regular and seasonal) on tap. Good selection of meals for all appetites. Generous portions. Not a bad selection to be had. Pizzas are excellent and filling. While there are many tv's for sports viewing pleasure, not the focal point.
Along with the company of the friendly staff the pizzas are second to none and the rest of the menu is pretty good as well! Well done Village Pub!
