I feel like this place is kind of hit or miss. We stopped passing through on our way home from Branson. We were sat immediately and our waitress who was VERY SWEET got our drink order. A group of about 6-7 people came in a were sat after us. We ordered our meal and the waitress put it in and came to take the large groups order. My fiancés soup came out promptly. I ate at O 'Charleys Friday April 1st, 2022 at 2p.m. and this is no April Fools joke. My wife and I ordered the Mississippi Catfish plate along with fried shrimp and chicken tenders. We were informed about 10 mins. later by the waiteress that we had to wait an addiontal 15 mins. that the fish had to thaw out. I said Fine, we will wait . The 2 plates arrived about 15 mins. (on time} later. The plates were full of food. We each got 3 peices of Catfish, 5 fried and breaded shrimp and 3 chicken tenders and French Fries. Stopped here passing through to go back to Florida. Never been so we thought we would try something different. Complimentary bread was good and fresh. Similar to Texas Roadhouse without the cinnamon butter. I ordered chicken tenders, which they seem to advertise as their specialty, they were okay. They were pretty overcooked. I also ordered mashed sweet potatoes and they were somewhat dry and lackluster. The ranch dressing is pretty bland as well.. The service was great! We were seated immediately with a full parking lot. We did have to wait about 25-30 minutes to receive our food, but the server continued to check on us during this time.We ordered one of their combination plates (ribs, steak and chicken tenders) and shared it between my husband and I. We also ordered a kids meal for our son. Ordering this way was very cost efficient.We did have to send back the steak due to being Rare instead of our ordered Medium, but it was a quick fix and my husband said it tasted delicious.
Food was okay but when delivered they were out of items. There could be no substitutions (for the multiple items) because we had placed our order already even though they did not have the items (again multiple) we requested. Then we were given a coupon to make up for this but it was already 2 week expired.
We use to love eating here. The menu has changed there is no longer a kids menu. Prices have increased that's OK but the quality of the food has changed dramatically everything we ordered was over cooked and tasted bland we have been long time customers but we will never go back and do not recommend it

Amazing staff!! Always friendly and they make sure the customer leaves happy!! Management is usually walking around to make sure things are running smoothly, keep it up!!????
