I recently got married in Denia and Octavio's provided the catering and the restaurant for the night before. All I can say is WOW. The food was unbelievable, the service was above and beyond, and it was such a pleasure to work with Octavio and Marta. Our guests could not stop talking about how great the food and atmosphere was in the restaurant the night before the wedding. The wedding venue was not easy; however, they accommodated to us and the unexpected. It was a perfect evening. We recommend the paella, fidegua, sepia, Spanish ham (one of the best in the world), veal sliders, gamba de Denia (shrimp from Denia), migas de bacalao, and the bread with aioli. Fuimos a Octavio's con alguna precaución a la vista de algún comentario negativo que vimos en TripAdvisor. Nuestra experiencia fue totalmente positiva. Nuestra cena al aire libre fue extremadamente agradable. El personal nos trató maravillosamente y la cena fluyó al ritmo adecuado. Pecando contra las prácticas valenciano-alicantinas, después de unas entradas (muy buenas), nos cenamos un arroz signoret que estaba espectacular y algún entrecot para los más jóvenes. Todo buenísimo y abundante. La calidad no puede ser barata en estos tiempos, pero con esa premisa, consideramos los precios de la cena muy contenidos.
Fuimos a comer un grupo de unas 25 personas. Lo que me llamó la atención es que en ningún momento nos dieron carta para que pudiéramos mirar algo, ni siquiera una, ni carta de comida ni la de postres. Al final pedimos unas cuantas raciones y un arroz. El arroz no estaba mal, pero la lechuga de la ensalada no me gustó nada, sabía mucho a tierra. Las croquetas muy buenas, al igual que los mejillones. Los postres eran caseros, muy ricos y bien presentados. El personal estaba un poco saturado, había mucha gente. El restaurante está muy cerca de la playa y tiene una terraza muy grande.
Teníamos alguna reticencia porque habíamos escuchado y leído referencias buenas y malas, pero la verdad es que nuestra experiencia fue bastante positiva. Fuimos varias familias con niños y pedimos el menu del día que incluía 3 entrantes a compartir, un arroz del día y postre o café por 28 euros, a parte las bebidas. Los entrantes estaban muy buenos y el arroz a band que hacían ese día está muy sabroso y en su punto. El trato por los camareros fue atento y con algún fallo en los pedidos que resolvieron sobre la marcha. En general bastante bien

The restaurant has a nice terrace outside with plenty of seating, we were the first couple there. We decided not to have a starter, that was a mistake. My husband ordered steak, luckily he ordered some potatoes with it. The steak was 2 small pieces, if the French fries had not been there, then I don't know how you would describe it as a main course. Not a vegetable or garnish in sight. Whilst the quality and the cooking were good, he was hungry when we came back home. The service was okay, but it's not one I would rush back to.
I needed paella for 9 to take back to our villa as we didn't fancy a visit to the restaurant that night. 35 minutes wait with an ice-cold cerveza to keep me company and I was treated to the sight of 3 people bringing an enourmous paella pan out to my car. Turns out there was enough in the pan for 6 hungry adults, 3 hungry kids, seconds for some, and lunch for 2 more the next day. All really tasty (although none of us liked the artichoke), plenty of chicken, chorizo, and veg.
I absolutely loved Octavio's. The owners greeted us and were outstanding chefs as well. We ordered the paella mixta and were thrilled with the quality and service. Lovely outdoor garden seating. I will be coming back for more!
What an environment and cozy service. We ordered a pizza, salad and some wine. What a great Night! Tje service ws easy going and great as well as the food and environment. Dont miss the Carbonara pizza , really an sucess!!

We just moved to Denia and this place is just up the street from us. I've had the pizza twice and it is so far by far my favorite pizza in Denia. They have a caesar salad with chicken that was absolutely delicious as well.
Very good paella and mussels but we waited really long for the paella. Some parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant!
