WOW!!!! Excellent!!!! Everything from the warm greeting at the door by Kim to the mouth watering taste of all the food items; Chef Michael Dolan, thank you for putting love into your meals it REALLY SHOWS!!!! Not to mention the perfect timing of our waitress; not hovering or M.I.A. when needed) she gave us time to “truly dine” with friends we had not seen in a while. The atmosphere is roomy, in crowded so you did not have to yell to speak to anyone in your party. We can not wait to return and spread the news about what a wonderful time we had! Great job Kim!!!! So glad we came and got to experience your establishment. Thank you and we will see you again soon!
My wife and I were visiting Point Pleasant, NJ for a family occasion the next day. We moved to Virginia from the Jersey Shore about 20 years ago (although Jersey never leaves your soul), and remember the Off Shore Bar and Grill as being a good place to eat. We stopped in with no reservation (the place was packed)...turns out, it was restaurant week. The hostess seated us quickly, in under a minute! The food was fresh and delicious (Meatball and Chicken Parmigiana)...Some things never change...and that 's a good thing. Great service, great food and a great waiter made our experience even better! Great food at reasonable prices...highly recommend.
After a afternoon on the boardwalk we decided to try The Offshore for dinner. This place was delicious!!! For starters we had our children with us and the staff made sure we had space for the belongings and a high chair. They actually had a toy for my oldest son to place with! I ordered the shrimp scampi and I can not wait to go back to get it again! It comes with the most perfectly seasoned fingerling potatoes! The shrimp had a delicious sauce! We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and they were delicious! My husband got the blackened chicken penne vodka and he was incredibly impressed!
My wife and I visited on a Thursday evening and had a delightful dinner. We started with the crostini topped with goat cheese, pistachios, and onions, which was fantastic. The New Bedford cod was cooked to perfection, featuring a crispy coating and a tender filet, while the broccoli rabe was seasoned just right. My wife enjoyed her penne with vodka sauce and chicken, which was also excellent. The service was attentive throughout our meal. I can't wait for our next visit!

During our vacation in August 2022, we spotted Off Shore and decided to give it a try. We received a warm welcome from the owner, and we were impressed with the menu options. Our waiter was fantastic, and the clams with white clam sauce and sea scallops were fresh and delicious. The decor was charming and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I’m visiting family and friends in Point Pleasant Beach from South Carolina for a few weeks. On our first night here, we stopped by a restaurant that caught our eye. It was appealing both outside and inside. The service and food were excellent! We both ordered soup, which was fantastic. We also tried three appetizers, and all of them were delicious.
The restaurant feels old and worn out. The 'signature' shrimp scampi was overly greasy and almost burnt. The potatoes were excessively salted, and the pasta had a gluten-free taste and was overcooked. The eggplant was floured instead of being breaded. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
Went early New Years Eve (2023) We all had fish dinners COD, flounder and zuppe di pesce Served with house salad and bread basket. We had a Bottle of Washington state Cabernet Sauvignon Total price for three under $200

We had my best friend's bridal shower there this weekend and it could not have been more perfect!! The food was delicious and the wait staff/ management were amazing. Thank you for making my best friend's day perfect!
