Had been craving Japanese food for the longest time and my visit to Ogenki definitely satisfied it. The salmon nigiri was light and fresh, served with wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. Loved the filling in the pork gyozas but would've liked a little more crispiness on the skin. Twice pork belly was scrumptious and saucy. We got hungry on the way back from the zoo and decided an impromptu stop by Mosman. Most of the place were closed so we found ourselves wondering around the street. I love this place. It’s central and the food is always fresh and delicious will post pics next time. Small and cosy restaurant and you may need to book Can’t nail my favourite dish but do love the salmon lovers bento box twice cooked pork and the cooked salmon or maybe the large sashimi bowl just to name a few.....
