We visited Oggi meaning today) on a cold November evening. The restaurant was brimming with people already at 6.45, so much so we skipped down to a local for 29 minutes until our table became available. The owner f the restaurant brought us delicious olives and bruschetta while we studied the menu. We were a table of 3 couples, four of whom had been close uni mates of 40 years. There was lots to catch up on, tears and laughter and clinking of glasses. The service was professional as yoi would expect from a good Italian restaurant. I am hard to please. I love good food, cooked well and this food was certainly the most delicious Italian I have eaten. Fat, sweet scallops in their shells, grille...
We travelled 3 hours to visit this restaurant and it was worth every minute and mile to get there. The steaks we both had were cooked to perfection and delicious. The service from all the team made for an unforgettable evening and the marvelous Reno was definitely the host with the most. Sublime is the word that describes our evening and we are already planning a repeat journey to Leicester just to come back to this gem.
BEST italian in Leicester! Me and my friends visit Oggi at least once a month. We come back time and time again because of the incredible food and the fantastic customer service! Rino is such a great man always happy and going above and beyond for his customers and his team are so welcoming brilliant! The food is unreal if you want authentic italian with an elegant setting … this is the place to go!!
Found this great Italian restaurant while dropping our son off at university. All pasta dishes were excellent along with a great bottle of wine. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the owner came along and sang a few songs, even America the Beautiful. What a great experience. Will visit again as we visit our son. Thanks for a great experience!

Our first time visiting Leicester. We called in at 1.50 pm on a Saturday. A few tables were occupied. We were turned away on the basis it was “too late”. I could understand if they were full up and rushed off their feet or we turned up at 2.50 pm but that was not the situation. We will be visiting Leicester frequently in the future but not this establishment
It's a fantastic Italian restaurant. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Reno is so fun and helpful, and if you are lucky, he will sing you a song , he has a great voice. The Bruchetta delicious. Panna Cotta delightful and wonderful tiramisu. The good is great, but the staff really added to the fantastic experience.
Authentic and amazing Italian food! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Reno was so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. I dined with three friends, pre concert. It started our night off perfectly, lots of laughs and a great dining experience! Thank you Reno, Mario team, we will be back!
We have eaten here several times before concerts at the De Montford Hall.The service is swift if they know you are going to a concert and the food is always delicious. You need to book a table on concert nights.

Had a fantastic evening at Oggi. The food was authentic and delicious, the service was second to none and the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!
