Finding a good restaurant among the many establishments in the area around place de la Contrescarpe can be challenging. There are two main types of customers: tourists and students. Indeed, many restaurants around here are more than tourist traps. The student-patronized places are a bit better, but they too much to MacDonald-like standards. Oisushi is a good counterexample, probably the best combination of quality and price in the area. There is an extensive Japanese menu including both sushi and other items, and each main course comes with soup, salad and rice: plenty of food for a meal.
