I really liked eating on the enclosed patio with the fireplace. Our waitress seemed a bit tired and forgetfull. We ordered drinks and my husband had to send his back, it was the oddest color martini, my drink was ok. I ordered a New York strip, but thats not what I received.I called it mystery steak. My husband ordered the spare ribs, they were tough and hard to eat. I loved my appetizer of roasted beets. My husband really enjoyed the squash soup. It was thick and creamy and full of flavor. The dessert was a gluten free brownie sundae. It was ok. We have eaten several times at Old Blinking Light and the food was fresh and perfectly cooked. Maybe this was an off night.
