Old Brogue Irish Pub

I think it just wasn't what I expected. We arrived around 10:50am and thought that maybe the coffee house was still open but they weren't, which was fine. We sat outside since we knew the Irish pub was now serving lunch and we waited a good 20 minutes until we got our own menus to look at (I understand there is turnover between breakfast and lunch but we at least needed a menu). It took a long time to get someone to then take our order. The outside area is really lovely to sit in for lunch but the overall service was kinda rough. Then, we got out meals. I've been going there for 35 years. Always a great meal, service and reasonable price. Vegetarian options: Wedge is the best Kid-friendliness: Children are always welcome

Fun place. Food was very good. Loved the fish and chips. The cottage pie was very tasty. Our server, I think his name is George was excellent.
