I recently moved to Mansfield from a larger city, and the BBQ options are limited here. We’ve eaten at Carolina a few times and the food has been good. (It’s the only reason I’m giving a extra star) Today I ordered online arrived at the time allotted and waited 10-15 minutes. When I got home the 1/2 slab of ribs is missing. So I have to drive back. There are no cars in the drive thru. I wait another 15 minutes just for someone to come to the speaker. I’ve worked in the service industry a long time. I’ve managed national chains. The response should never be sorry here’s your food. At least offer a coupon, discount or free dessert. I realize good help is hard to find but it takes minimal effor...
I cant give it a 4.5 so i have to give it a 5.0. It was good, I had there make your own bowl and I had mac&cheese, pulled pork, and some of there fried green onions. The pulled pork was good, and the noodles for the mac&cheese were really big, but in my opinion I only found the fried onions ok. I don't know if it was the taste or texture but it didn't have much buzzass to my taste-buds. I also had some corn bread. It was nice and moist and with there cinnamon butter it is magnificent. They also have nice sweet tea.
We visited Old Carolina Barbecue tonight with low expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was incredibly affordable for the quality we received, and the staff was attentive and friendly! This restaurant makes it much more budget-friendly to feed my family of seven, which is a huge plus. As for the food? It was fantastic! The coleslaw was delightful, and the meat was incredibly tender—never dry and full of flavor. And the sauces? They nailed it again!
I am more than happy to give this place a five-star review! They catered our wedding, and we couldn't have been more satisfied. Robert and his catering team were incredibly welcoming and attentive to our needs. We ordered catering for around 80 guests, and the price was very reasonable! The food was absolutely fantastic, and everyone loved it. They arrived on time and set everything up perfectly. I highly recommend Old Carolina Barbecue!

This place is always clean when you walk in. Staff is friendly and helpful in every way. The next time, I visit I am going to dine in so I can relax and wait on my food. They bring your food out to you. I tip every visit because it is just the right thing to do when you have good service and hot food.
It's a bit on the pricey side, but the food is so worth it. for the 6 of us we paid a little over $100, but the food was brought to us and we were treated very respectfully. The food however was the best part, it had so much flavor and was freshly made. Would recommend at least a visit!
Flavor of the meat was great, although it was cold. Sauces were ordinary. Mustard was not at all like a mustard BBQ. Staff was kind. Meal was pricey for the amount.
Great tasting food. Different meats to choose from. Large portions. The sauces were super flavorful. The staff was very friendly. We'll be coming back for sure.

I'm not sure why they're closing down. This place is amazing and far better than any BBQ spot in the Mansfield area. I'll really miss their brisket sandwiches.
Always yummy bbq.... Had pulled pork, I love all the sauces you get to choose from. Plus yummy cheerwine and sweet tea. Great service.
