I booked this tea room as our lunch stop on the way to Herefordshire with 14 friends for a Mystery Tour, which I put together. My husband and I had visited in April and loved it. It is a very very old place, but it has a 1940s/50s theme with lots of metal adverts from that era on the walls, (you will recognise them from my photographs! along with music to go with it too which just finishes off the ambience. You will enter the Tea Room by a very creaky door, but that all adds to the atmosphere it would be a sin to oil it!! This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. It's decorated like a traditional tearoom with beautiful china tea cups and tablecloths. The menu has a wide variety of options, including many gluten-free choices. They are also very welcoming to dogs, both inside and outside. Our two large dogs were treated well and even given a dish of chopped up sausage. The staff were very kind and we will definitely be returning. A tip for future visitors: make sure to book ahead as the restaurant is quite popular and almost all tables were reserved when we visited.
This a little gem of a place. Set in the quaint Harts Barn development with a few little shops dotted around, a beautician and cookery school, the tea shop is the main draw here. Run by delightful people, the food is homemade and wholesome with amazing cakes. The huge range of tea is served in beautiful mismatched bone China crockery. It is always popular so worth reserving a table. I hear the Sunday lunches are excellent too. Great value for money too. Highly recommended!
I brought my cousin and husband to this restaurant for breakfast and it was absolutely perfect. We ordered three large breakfasts and one bacon and sausage sandwich with gluten-free bread, all of which were excellent. I have been here many times and it never disappoints. We came in as it was advertised as dog friendly and had gluten free options. We weren't disappointed. I had the gluten free veggie breakfast which was huge and delicious. My partner had the BLT which was huge when it arrived. The best part was they even brought out a little something for the dog which was helpful to distract her when other people came in with their dogs.
We all thought the food was lovely . Brilliantly presented, caring nice staff, and mouth-wateringly yummy food. They even had some sausage for the doggies to enjoy! The only downside was we ate all the food (no wonder, it was lovely) we didn’t have room for pudding! Would defo recommend coming here!
This charming café offers delicious food and is staffed by incredibly friendly employees. The breakfast menu is served until 3pm and had two of our group members eagerly awaiting their meal, while the rest of us savored the delicious sandwiches and scones that were available.

The best cooked breakfast ever and excellent coffee in a wonderful vintage environment. Didn't have cake this time but from experience l can say they're amazing. Lovely home good food with local produce.
