We had a great time at the Old Ebbit Grill. We were visiting DC for the day and we took along family members that had never visited the city before. It was a very hot day in August and after visiting museums at the Mall for most of the day; we were hungry, and wanted to take a break before our last stop at the Lincoln Memorial. Our waiter was just great, he really took great care of us; the steak and the oysters were just superb. Visiting the Grill was the perfect combination to enjoy a wonderful day in DC. If you visit DC please make some time to stop at the Grill.
I had meatloaf, omg it was amazing, coming from the UK and not normally eating this I found it to die for. My wife had spaghettini, she said it was fantastic. My only one criticism was that the air con was v.closed to our table and there were lots of very cold wafts of air, a little uncomfortable. Apart from that, great service, lovely atmosphere and fantastic food. 100% recommend
Enjoyed our lunch at this classy and lively restaurant, not too far from the White House. We didn’t have reservations but were able to dine at the bar. Seems to be known for oysters on the half shell, but we had sandwiches. Our bartender, Stephen, was especially welcoming. Recommended!
One of the best places to order calamari in DC. The physical environment of the location is great, if you are making reservations beware you have dinning in the front and back areas. The back area is more modern, and the front is more relaxed and fancy. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Nice dinner spot. The velvet booths were my favorite. I did feel the food was a tad over priced, but everything was flavorful and our server’s recommendation was a hit. Crab cake entree was tasteful. Summer nights drink was refreshing
Environment was very nice, clean booths and friendly personnel. The crater salad was just lettuce with matinee sauce on top, nothing special. The mains were fine however. Location is the best there is. Next to the treasury building.
This is a great place to eat. Large selection of food items, amazing service, excellent food quality. I had the rib eye steak and the wife had filet mignon steak and we spilt a tomato appetizer. Both meals were absolutely delicious.

I visited this restaurant before a show to grab a drink. The bartender was welcoming and the ambiance was very nice.
