Old Hickory Steakhouse

Delicious steaks my husband had the Kansas City strip and I had the steak frites. Both were excellent. The service and atmosphere, though, were lacking. I was disappointed at the pulls in the white tablecloths, the chipped paint on the walls, and the frayed/badly worn and torn furniture. Given the pricing, we expected a 5-star experience, but the atmosphere fell short. Although we enjoyed the food, I would suggest walking to the National Harbor restaurants at the waterfront outside of the hotel instead if you’re staying at the Gaylord. They offer a better experience and more appropriate pricing.

This is the first time me dining here but not the last time. We were greeted by the hostess. She was very polite and personable. Once seated, the waiter came over who was very professional and kind. He made sure we weee very satisfied with very thing. The food was OUTSTANDING. I had the ribeye steak. This is one of the best steaks I every had. The only downside of this experience was I wasn’t properly dressed for this occasion. We didn’t to play to go here but so glad we did. I would recommend everyone to dine here. You will not be disappointed.

In town for a trade show and staying at Gaylord National Harbor. These steakhouses are always good and this one did not disappoint. Seafood Bisque was excellent, steaks and sides were perfect as well. Claudia seated us and was so friendly and helpful. Our server was Happy and his name surely fits his demeanor. Overall great experience.

we celebrated our 2nd high season with them all and absolutely loved it. our server was incredible!
