You can't fault this place for its portion sizes! The creamy garlic mushroom starter, complete with crunchy croutons, was almost large enough to be a main course, brimming with mushrooms in a delicious sauce. The slices of French bread topped with melted cheese were delightfully indulgent. The main courses are definitely generous. I inquired about the vegetarian dish and was served homemade pastries stuffed with cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, and paprika, accompanied by crispy chips and a generous drizzle of flavorful gravy. If you're really hungry, be sure to order the panko chicken! I ended up taking more than half of it home in a doggy bag.
Fantastic little gem . There are 3 chalets at the rear of the pub away from the noise of the road and pub , so very quiet. Very clean, and spacious, we had the family room , bed comfortable , lovely shower bathroom, a room with a cot wardrobe, and Chester drawers , and out door space with table chairs which was a lovely bonus. Land lady is very friendly , kind welcoming. Pub restaurant superb, food delicious . Breakfast very tasty. Would recommend a stay here !!
Sunday lunch was brilliant. Fresh battered mushrooms homemade garlic mayo. The roast lamb was plentiful, lean and extremely tender. Didn't need a knife !!! Neither of us could manage a sweet. Staff were efficient and attentive but we're were certainly not rushed. Recommend it !!!
Had a lovely meal today with friends and family. Lovely, friendly pub with awesome food. Bartender and kitchen were very helpful, and accommodated our menu requests. Steak was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience with all dishes homemade and incredibly delicious. The staff is friendly, the pub atmosphere is cozy, and the prices are very reasonable. We definitely plan to visit again soon!
I visited this pub for Sunday dinner, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I had the best Sunday dinner I can remember. I highly recommend it!
