High-end traditional fish chips business on byres road. limited menu, but very, very reasonable in its price and portion size of the haddock alone fills the largest part of the plate. cheeseburger and chips is also excellent here, and if someone enjoys a good Sunday brunch, then try here definitiw times. service is excellent, and due to the rather small restaurants the atmosphere is warm and cozy. old salty’s is a good place to eat in a rainy day in glassgow.
old salty’s is essentially a posh chippy, sometimes exactly what it is in the mood for! an ideal hangover cure. we had the makkaroni cake and the steakcake, each with chips and some muddy heaps and some gravy on the side. we were both very happy with our cake breakfasts, I especially recommend the steak pee! it wasn't too expensive considering it comes with table service, and has a more pleasant atmosphere than other chippys!
husband and I came for a quick bite and were amazed at the facility. it is very industrial with many different textures and just look very cool. server robbie was amazing, attentive and nice. eating and drinks were pretty good. I had a makkaroni and cheesecake with pommes and my man had the 6oz burger w/ pommes. everything came out in time. Thank you!
Visited today because of the positive reviews of the sausage saucer. It was very good, and the chips were excellent. I think they were Linda MacCarney sausages I really like. It was just a shame that it just kne vegan option. I also want to see tof-ish or vegan scampi. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I went here with some non-vegan buddies as they were blown away from all the prizes she won. Expected no vegan option, but the sausage sauce was excellent! The all-embracing also tried something and were impressed. Service was fast and friendly. Well done!
