The food here rocks! On our most recent visit, I got the blackened chicken sandwich and my husband got the boiled perch sandwich. Both were awesome and served with delicious handmade fries. They have a nice patio area and we’ve enjoyed sitting out there in the summer. Today we watched the England vs France match while eating inside. They have plenty of TVs so you can see the game from any seat. Definitely recommend for lunch, dinner, or takeout. The prices are pretty affordable too.
We love Old School Tavern for the delicious food, neighborhood-feel atmosphere, and excellent service. Highly recommend the lake perch meal; it's outstanding. Save room for dessert, too, because the donut holes are delish! I'm personally not a meat eater, but those in our party absolutely raved about the burgers. Be sure to also sample some of the appetizers. We enjoyed the pretzels and the grilled brussel sprouts.
I had a negative experience at this restaurant due to the way the staff treated me. The bartender kept giving me a mean look as if he was suspicious of me, which made me feel uncomfortable. I even attempted to engage him in small talk, but he seemed totally disinterested. A woman I was with noticed the situation as well, and it made for an awkward atmosphere.
Went on Wednesday for burger night after our volleyball team won some games. Great beer selection, yummy burger, got a nice little dessert too. If available the brisket here is spectacular but it's a rare event. Went back again after volleyball and it's still a nice local spot. Burger was good fries were very good. This is an unassuming place with a good hearty food menu. We stopped by for a drink. I ended up with Irish coffee and a dessert which was very yummy. I will definitely go back for more than dessert. The place is a pleasant surprise. The food at the other tables smelled good.
This bar and grill is amazing! The food was outstanding, and Mike was really friendly and courteous, making us feel right at home. The portions were quite generous. I will definitely be returning!
A Cordon Bleu chef crafted incredibly delicious cheeseburgers in a cozy, welcoming bar. We felt well taken care of, even though it was clear we were from out of town.
I’ve visited this restaurant a few times, and the food has consistently been excellent! The Cajun shrimp pasta, pot roast, and BBQ pork sandwiches are all delicious! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish sandwich. The drinks were also quite good. It's a great neighborhood spot!
