Giving it a 2 cuz the service was good. The food was one star. First the appetizers: cheese curds tasted like they were processed, frozen, shipped across country,and dumped in the fryer. Yuck. Entrees: My BF ordered the Moburger the mushrooms were NOT sauteed, they were straight out of a can. I ordered the special roasted New York Strip steak. It was....odd. It was cooked like a prime rib, but tasted .... Well, not like a steak. The consistency was just weird. The au jus was tasty tho. I ordered the augratin potatoes as my side. I am sure they came straight out a box. Rather blah. I wish I remembered our server 's name, she was good! On the bill, she is #11...!
We camp nearby throughout the seasons and visit this restaurant from time to time. Recently, we've started ordering takeout and we've been quite satisfied. We've tried several appetizers that were hot and crispy, even after a short drive home. Their pizza is also very good. I had the Philly sandwich recently, and it was great too. We've always received excellent service here, never experiencing the cold treatment that is often common in small towns if you're not a local. Definitely worth a try!
Ah, destiny has brought me to this historic tavern rich with tradition. Here, like the Vikings of old, I revel in good cheer and ale, feasting on the meat of great beasts that have been hunted to fuel my strong physique, a blessing from the gods. The charming serving staff keep our spirits high, brightening my companions' moods even more than the noble kings of the past. Hats off to the staff, truly well done! I will surely return here many times after my hard-fought battles!
Consider visiting the Maiden Shade campground for some disc golf, and then make sure to stop by this restaurant for a pleasant lunch. It's located in a charming old town and offers a cozy dining experience. I tried the Caesar chicken wrap and tater tots, which were tasty but didn’t leave me amazed. Overall, the meal was simple and straightforward. Definitely worth a visit!

I visited the restaurant on a Friday night, and it was quite busy. However, this didn’t affect our service or food orders. The waitress was friendly, and both the appetizers and main dishes were delicious and served in generous portions. Our group of six all had a great time. I will definitely return!
The family and I gather here about once a month for Wednesday Burger Night. Good burgers, old town atmosphere with historic pictures of the town on the walls. Steph is usually our server she 's always on the ball!!! It 's an Old Town Tavern complete with all the locals
If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would! This place is fantastic for playing pool. Brenna and Michelle are incredibly sweet and provide exceptional service! Ralph is the best cook I've ever encountered! I highly recommend this place!
I've eaten there a few times since there aren't many options in town. The place isn't bad, but it could use some updates. The bar food is just what you'd expect—nothing special. Personally, I think the prices are a bit high for the portion sizes.

Love this place, always get great food and services at a great price!! Place looks a little like a dive bar, but the food and service make up of it.
Excellent service and tasty bar food. It's a lovely spot to take a break when cycling along the Sakatah State Trail.
