Old Vines Restaurant

The experience at this restaurant was overall disappointing. The staff was very nice, but the food did not meet our expectations. The duck jam with foie gras was tasteless and the foie gras itself was not of good quality. The main courses were not served hot and my partner's rib-eye steak was overcooked and tough. The cheesecake I had for dessert was good, but the strawberry sorbet my partner had was just okay. Despite the cold coffee and mediocre food, the service was okay. We have dined at this restaurant several times in the past, but we will not be returning as the quality seems to have declined. It is a shame as we had enjoyed our meals there before.

overall our experience at Quail’s gate was good, but not great. eating was delicious and our server is great! we also like the atmosphere of the restaurant and deco in the dining room. the only thing we don't appreciate is the service of. the host. first, she did not acknowledge our annual day, even we stated on our booking. we heard, however, that our server greeted the kerl next to our table with “fortunate birthday” as soon as he sat down (I think the server was switched on). secondly we were assigned to a table by the window with a view blocked by the wall structure. not happy with it. we will not consider coming back.

My wife and I just came back from a week in West Kelowna. We look to find good food everywhere we go. While we had good restaurant meals, the only one that truly stood out was our long time favourite,, Old Vines restaurant in Quail's...Gate Winery. Over the years, we've been here many times and are always excited to go back. The food and service, as well as the physical facility can't be beaten. It's a wonderful evening and we would recommend it highly. On the upper end of expensive, but worth every penny. I'm still dreaming of the dessert I had. Bravo after all these years!!

We are from out of town and on June 20th looked on Open Table for a dinner reservation June 21st. The earliest Open Table had was 8:45PM. I called the restaurant and they were able to book us in at 7:45PM, at a window table...with a great view of the orchard and setting sun across the lake, to celebrate a birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed appetizers, entrees, and desserts with a good selection of paired Quail's Gate wines by the glass. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

do not buy a gift card from this restaurant. we have one as a high-time gift for a couple and when they used it, the personal refused it. they claimed it was never authorized, despite the fact that I paid for it. the. couple had to pay for their dinner. later the restaurant admitted, there was a computer glitter on her part. as my wife nov 2 cried to complain, the staff did not seem to care.

We had a lovely lunch at the restaurant! We tried some wine flights and had charcuterie/cheese followed by delicious mains. Everything we tasted was tasty and beautifully presented. The view is perfect and we had a really great waiter! A wonderful experience!
