Terrible service and awful food. If you’re not Haitian, avoid this place. The music is unbearably loud and lacks any variety. It was my friend’s birthday, and the experience was a complete disaster—some of our orders never even arrived. The waitress was extremely rude and unpleasant. We requested separate checks, but she only brought one. Our food didn’t come out all at once, so by the time the last plate arrived, the rest was cold. I absolutely love this restaurant! I've been eating here for about six years now. My favorites are the griot, black rice, and plantains with pikliz and sauce, but this time I decided to try the tasso, and I wasn't disappointed. It was perfectly crispy in the right places and juicy where it needed to be—just right. The owner is always really friendly and greets us every time we visit. The waitress was very kind and attentive. One thing to note: don’t bother calling to place an order, as they don’t often answer the phone. However, if you go there, it usually doesn’t take too long—around 25-30 minutes in my experience. They truly are great!
I am from Miami, FL. Olé is THE best Haitian restaurant in the state of Georgia. From the rice, to the fish, the taste is off the charts. This is true Haitian cuisine and if you want to introduce someone to Haitian food for the first time, this is where you bring them. Salute to the chefs at Olé. You guys are amazing! My sister had her birthday party here oct 1st , and the music was wayyy to loud , the server was unprofessional had no care for us at all... she took wayyy more money off my sister's card then what she was suppose to. The food was okay...I recommendgoing anywhere else in Atlanta but here.
The food and drinks were fantastic. We visited on a Sunday evening when it wasn't crowded, allowing us to enjoy our meal and atmosphere. It was our first time there, and the owner welcomed us warmly, even treating us to a complimentary dish. Thank you so much! We can't wait to return.
I ordered oxtails with rice and peas, and the food was incredible—this was my first experience with Haitian cuisine. The seasoning was exceptional, and you could truly taste the spices. I assure you, it's definitely worth a try. I can't wait to come back!
If you enjoy Haitian cuisine, Ole Lounge is the spot to visit. The food was excellent, and the drinks were even more impressive! Truly a great experience. An ideal place for a date night.
