Always meant to go here after hearing many clients rave about it. Small family run restaurant, not a chain. Wow can you tell the difference. The staff are delightful. Funny, interactive with time to chat give you plenty of info on the dishes. Even if there wasn't something on the menu. Just ask. Super attentive too. But not over bearing. Even down to asking how long till you want your next course. (been in restaurants where it's so quick you don't have time to digest the 1st course) Now to the food. Wow wow wow. beautiful atmosphere, and the waiter and the staff were all very friendly and very attentive. the food and pasta was all very fresh and all made home. each of the dishes we had were absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend to come here for a special occasion. the restaurant is located near the main green in writtle and a free car park is close to. I'll eat here in a definitive way.
My friend and I recently celebrated our jubilee at Olio on the Green, and it was a wonderful experience. All the staff members were incredibly charming and took great care of us. The food was outstanding—fresh and delicious! We had made a reservation in advance for this special occasion, and they truly made us feel valued. It was a lovely evening, and we will definitely return!

Busy Saturday night and a nice armosphere. Had to wait a time before ordering but after that service was efficient. Food especially the starter was good although portions were a bit too generous. We enjoyed our meal and will go back.
This is the perfect Italian restaurant! They offer a wide variety of dishes. We tried the skate wing from the specials, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable. I highly recommend this place!
