From the outside it looks like terrible, from inside it is pleasant. Hotel, restaurants, bar, pool everything lives from the direct location on the beach and the direct location to the golf course! very quiet location, as it is about 3 km away from the main road and motorway. Try the restaurant in the golf clubhouse and try the Centro Commercial with beer and cocktail bar, ice cream cafe, pizza-pasta, hairdresser, pharmacy and many shops.Oliva Nova is the little paradise on the Costa Blanca.
High value is the people, who are really kind. But then too many negative points. To start is too expensive for the service they provide. It's an old hotel (or at least all looks old), many things are broken. All restaurants closed except the one at the pool where the kitchen is a dissaster, total lack of communication between kitchen and waiters. We went for a wedding and half of the thinks went out disastrous.
This hotel claims that pets are allowed, but do not allow them anywhere but the main lobby and outside, staff was extremely unfriendly towards pets. The hotel claims it has a restaurant but only has a buffet where the food was below regular standards for such an expensive hotel. Was supposed to get a hotel room with a view out to the beach, instead we got a room with poor visibility which we paid extra for.
Isolated location. Good for family with kids. Tasty and various food, decent rooms, and nice pool with sun beds. The beach is close enogh, has a beach bar and sun beds.
