Our grown daughter loves Olive Garden. I'm lukewarm at best. She's in her early 30s; I'm in my early 60s. But it was her birthday tonight and she chose Olive Garden. So off we went with her and the grandkids. Each time I go to the Olive Garden in Bloomington, IL, I'm trying to give it a chance, not be judgemental ... but each time, it doesn't take long before I'm just counting my time till I can escape ... What was wrong tonight ... waitress was okay; I don't think anything is or was her fault. It took 15 minutes to get breadsticks for the grandkids. It took longer than that to get one glass of wine. Our waitress didn't put part of our order in so we missed part of our meal. The food pacing...
The food here is exactly like any other Olive Garden but the service is awful. We had a large group and made a reservation and was assured that they could take care of us. They failed miserably. They had only one waiter waiting on our two very large tables and they should have had a least four. Nobody received what they ordered and the food was cold. The poor waiter really tried but the management just set him up for failure. We spent over 2-1/2 hours there for dinner and this was after waiting a half hour for our reservation time. The management here needs to pull it together.
We came from out of town and we have Olive Garden in our city. This Olive Garden was updated and clean. What made our experience excellent was our server, Megan. We have eaten in a chain restaurant too many times and we enjoy Olive Garden. I wouldn’t normally write a review except for the exceptional service I wanted to recognize. Megan was super attentive, friendly and bent the rules for us which we so appreciated. She made sure our order was perfect and even when it was not something on the menu. Thank you Megan!
First carry out order from the OG. Fairly easy no need to actually speak with anyone and prepay. Order was on time Hostess reviews order before handing it over to ensure everything was correct. Food back home still hot : Great size salad Pasta somewhat generic but really cooked well and tasted. I would try them again. It is q nice change up from the standard pizza or sub carry out.

Went with family for dinner. Seated within 10 minutes at 6:15pm. Excellent bread sticks and salad of course! Shrimp Scampi was really good. Took deserts to go which were Cheesecake , Lemon cake and Chocolate cake , which were excellent! Our server Keirra M was very nice and pleasant and Olive Garden is lucky to have her! Would definitely go back.
I love there veg salad it just like the way I like, soup is ok. We ordered calabrain chicken tenders they so yummy rightly marinated and fries. Chicken parmigiana is ok, chicken is good but spaghetti sauce not good. Our tummies are fully by the time we stepped out. Ambiance is good. I Will visit again
My sister and I live 1 1/2 hours apart so each drove 45 minutes to have lunch together. We both had the soup and salad combo. At our request, Jake served us the salad first then the soups. It was a very relaxing time. Service was super and the food was delicious!!
A large group of gymnasts and family were there Friday night later in the evening. The staff waited on us quickly and with a great attitude even though we would be there past their regular hours. Highly recommend this restaurant!

This restaurant is a great place to go with friends and enjoy a delicious, warm soup. I highly recommend their affordable lunch specials in the morning.
Family favorite for Italian food. The service is a bit questionable at times, but the food is consistently good. Fettuccine alfredo every time!
