While the wait staff is doing a commendable job, it's off-putting to have new employees training right in front of customers. My son and I dined at Olive Garden on a Friday afternoon, just before the dinner rush. It was my son's first visit, and I wanted to treat him to the all-you-can-eat soup and salad. Our waitress greeted us with a fresh salad and warm breadsticks to start. Once we finished the salad, she presented us with a choice of Chicken Gnocchi soup or Minestrone. We also requested another bowl of salad to round out our meal. While the salad was tasty, I wasn't fond of some spices in both soups. Nevertheless, I had a great experience overall that day. I wasn't initially a fan of Olive Garden, but after being served by Genesis last week, it has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat. Genesis was outstanding—attentive, professional, and very friendly. My family and I are definitely planning to return more often. I won’t be coming back to this restaurant. We waited over two hours for our food, which was good, but not worth the lengthy wait. We arrived at 4:15 and didn’t get our meals until 6:00. If they genuinely care about customer feedback, they need to take more initiative in seating customers, particularly for large groups like ours of 12. If they keep up this slow service, they risk losing business.

Food was great. Employees are excellent. The service is very good and fast. Only reason they don't get five stars is because we had dust from the light above our table falling on us. We looked up and the light had dust and spider webs caked on. Looked around and there were other lights with the same issues. One light even had food on it. Looked like a food fight went down at that table.
The food at this restaurant is always outstanding. We ordered the shrimp scampi and cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce, and both dishes were fantastic. The salad and breadsticks are exceptional and are a big reason why we keep returning. Our server was very attentive and made sure to check on us regularly.
