Update 7/15: I sent an email to the Olive Garden customer service and they replied within the day. They seem genuine in wanting to create a better experience and offered my family a free meal to make it right. I am very satisfied in how quickly customer service took responsibility and made things right. Thank you Olive Garden. What a difference a year makes. Awesome experience last year, this year….not so much. I came here for my 21st birthday, but it wasn’t the experience I expected. I made a reservation so they were prepared for our party of 13. Our server seemed irritated from the get go. She started her introduction by telling us that everybody should just get salad and not order soup because it “makes her life easier.” She proceeded to tell us that people that did not order salad would be charged if they got caught eating it. With covid we have shifted to take out and it is not as good as eating in the restaurant but the staff try hard to provide excellent service. And when things go sideways they try to make it right. At this location my experience has been everybody is friendly and polite and even on a holiday they're working hard to commitments. It appears as with everything else, inflation has raised prices. So the value for the money is only mediocre but it's not particularly worse than anywhere else. No fuss pastas. We went for dinner and waited about 15 mins for a table. My family loves this place, the kids really like the childrens meals options and I love the soup and salad. Everything was clean and food came out fast. Our server Isaiah was very nice and patient, he wore his mask. Update: We had a group of 13 people and were told to find another place to eat. We asked if they could split our group and Christina said they couldn’t and told us we could go to Applebees next door or to another restaurant where they would serve us. Just like any other Olive Garden, but I do like the staff at this particular location. I've always had a really nice experience here. The hostess is always super positive, and the servers tend to be pretty upbeat and timely. I can appreciate that. Sounds basic, but so many restaurants miss this. Good job, Lake O Olive Garden. Kudos to you!
Had the absolute best service. Our waiter went above and beyond and was friendly. Really stood out as the best experience I've had at olive garden, not that I've ever had a bad experience. The food is always consistently good so this was just a really nice bonus! I regret that I forgot his name, as I'm typing this up.
Like many times before, the food in the franchise was excellent, and the portion size was enough to take home as leftovers. It was busy, so the atmosphere was more like a cafeteria. Our server was too busy to take our two topper as any kind of priority, so our drinks, appetizers, and table bread were mostly ignored.
First time at this location and only my second time dining at Olive Garden. Celeste was our server and she was wonderful, even with having more tables than expected. Usually I enjoy coming here, but this time the bread was over salted, the salad was soggy and the chicken was overcooked. It was terrible. The server was nice, and I got food quickly, I couldn't eat it though.
