We were there to celebrate an occasion extended family and friends. The restaurant has a lovely charm to it, nicely placed across from Springer Square in downtown Kingston. Everything about Olivea is outstanding from the moment you enter. The first visit was for dinner and, even though the restaurant was very busy, I was seated immediately and approached by the server shortly after. The staff are all friendly and professional. As busy as...it was, they never seemed rushed or frazzled. The food was excellent! The caprese salad was the best I've ever had. The fresh bread with the oil/vinegar was so good, you'll definitely want more. I chose the Orecchietti for dinner and wasn't disappointed. We throughly enjoyed our meal here last week. We had oysters, calamari, bruschetta for our starters with pastas as our mains, the seafood pasta with sausage was amazing. Service was good, my only complaint is for the food runner. Witnessed by all at our table...this young man was constantly running his hands through his hair as it was falling into his face constantly, then running food, hands back in his hair and cutting delivery bread. If he wasn’t running items he was cutting and eating bread. Not once did he wash or sanitize his hands. Maybe he needs a food handlers course or a hair net. All in all a great evening out and definitely recommend. Just check your bread.
we enjoyed our meal here last week. we had oysters, calamari, bruschetta for our appetizers with pastas as our main, the seafood pasta with sausage was amazing. service was good, my only complaint is for the food store. from all of us to our table. this young man constantly ran his hands through his horns, when he constantly fell into his face, then food, hands back into his horns and cut the delivery broth. if he didn't run things, he cut and eats broth. not even wash or sanit his hands. Maybe he needs a food handler course or a hair net. all in all recommend a great evening and in any case. Just check your brot.
Hey! We had supper last evening at 515 and we love your restaurant normally. We spent 400 plus but my girlfriend and I left all our pasta as it was SO over cooked and mine clumped together the waitress did. Not even ask if anything...was wrong. We left another full desert as it was not good. We come at least every couple months and my husband and I come for our anniversary every year. Just disappointed in quality and service yesterday. I emailed them the above and they ignored me and ignored me they don't care about customer service at all, wouldn't go

Here is how customer focused they are: The restaurant contacted me quickly after I left a message on my on line reservation and also followed up after our dinner with a thank you email. I went for...dinner with my teenage son and the food and service were both amazing. The restaurant is cosy and welcoming, you feel at home right away. We will be back next time we are in Kingston.
We were a group of twelve who had a Thursday night reservation. We were seated comfortably in a side room. Our server Sam was excellent! Thank you Sam! Hubby enjoyed a Makers Mark Manhattan. We shared six oysters on the half shell. I had the...Penne Arrabbiata, he had the Pasta Carbonara. Both entrees were outstanding! Everyone loved the food, the ambiance and the service. This is a must-visit when in Kingston!
Like other recent reviews, this place has gone downhill. Had a horrible experience in 2019 and for some reason decided to return on our latest visit. Food is oversalted, poor quality and the kitchen nor servers respond to feedback.
here for lunch on Thursday. I sat out right now. I had the suppe and 1/2 sandwich order. my wife had the salat and 1/2 sandwich order. both were good. was not harassed by beens because they had a bee trap.
