By far the best omekase/sushi we’ve had in the US. We just came back from Japan and this is hands down the most authentic Japanese restaurant we’ve been to. The fish was absolutely amazing, with the perfect amount of soy sauce/wasabi (real wasabi, not horseradish like some places). The fatty tuna was a particular highlight. The seating was typical Japanese style with an L shaped counter and you can see the sushi chefs preparing the food. We tried a few of their sakes, and they were all excellent. We came for my sister-in-law’s birthday and they gave us a free glass of a very good sake to celebrate. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the sushi chefs were fantastic. Never have I thought I would be almost crying when I eat sushi. The sushi is just melting in your mouth and it was the best experience and food I had for sushi! The price was worth every penny.Everyone was so professional and polite. They get your coats for you, push the chair out and in for you, clean your table so well throughout your dinner. The bathroom is quite small but it's got everything! They have mouthwash and all kinds of stuff.
Highly rated for a reason. Fish is super fresh and service is friendly. Great value at a no frills intimate restaurant. As of Jan 2024, it’s $89 for 15 great courses.What’s the catch? Dinner is strictly limited to one hour and it can feel rushed. Sometimes the chefs will ask you for feedback while you’re still chewing!!Overall, amazing place if you adjust your expectations for a quick 1 hr long omakase.
Went here for my birthday today, definitely a wonderful experience, where everyone is very friendly and the food was amazing. Got the additional scallop and uni handroll (HR), would recommend. I do admit I do not go to omakase often, but even with my limited experience, I could tell everyone enjoyed the food and Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is even not a real omakase. If you expect a real Japanese omakase, trust me, pick another place. If you just want a place to eat sushi one by one, it's an okay place.
The sushi here is excellent quality for the price. It was a satisfying meal. The staff was fantastic—very friendly and welcoming!
