Truly horrid experience and service. Not only was there a HAIR in my food, when I told that the waiter he simply shrugged it off and continued to dump cheese on top of my food. I refused to eat it and he begrudgingly took it back to the kitchen.. No more than 2 minutes he returns with the same dish, expecting me to eat it.. He notified no one and I had to flag another server who only then got a manager. I only received an apology from management after having already spoken to 2 servers. It's really a love hate situation with this al fresco wine bar in the middle of Brand Americana mall. Love to come here at like 4 in the afternoon, where you can expect a very limited menu and what can only be described as comically horrific service. I'm saying this as someone who has been there over twenty times. Seriously, every single time it's nuts. It was our first time in LA looking for a place to have dinner and have some drinks near our Airbnb … the food and service were great but almost at the end we saw a rat in the patio area under our table. We reacted scared and surprise, as expected. The staff started laughing at us. The manager came to our table and the only thing he had to say was that it wasn’t their fault! I personally felt unappreciated, a joke , like they didn’t care what we though since they were already closing and no one was there. Wouldn’t recommend them ! Really bad experience!

Literally just a wine bar. Very very very mellow atmosphere. SMALL area. It's located a few miles from several other bars but unless you're into wine then pick somewhere else for the night. Professional staff, offer tastes of a few wines depending on what you like $11-15 depending on what you get (sparking, pink, white, red.. glasses we ordered a cheese platter it had variety you can pick from if you know how to pair cheese wine. Overall, just CHILL place if you like your wines
We stopped in for a light dinner. I selected the beet salad which was okay and a glass of wine. On another night we stopped at the neighboring patio which is also owned by this restaurant which had a create your own gin and tonic menu..a really fun idea. On this second visit to this sister establishment, we got the fried calamari..the fried veggies with it where a hit. Overall, the the food we got was okay.
Margherita pizza was excellent. Not at all wet and mushy in the middle. Fried calamari was also very good. Although the fried calamari order is really more like a vegetable tempura with some calamari sprinkled in. But it tasted amazing. Vegetable soup was bland and boring. I'd even go so far as to say it was not good. Service was friendly but a bit slow.
The food varies from mediocre to downright unappetizing. The service leaves much to be desired, but it hardly matters when the quality of the food is so poor. I suspect the only reason it's still in business is because of its outdoor seating. On a positive note, I absolutely love Delucas as a lunch destination.

Went there at 8:30pm, their website and Google says they close at 10pm. The host was snotty and said no our website is wrong we close at 9 and we can't help you. Wow. Will not return.
This place is great the gin and tonics are great, and Beto is the best
