The service was mostly excellent, with both servers being very friendly. However, we did experience a long wait just to receive salt and pepper. The squid on its own lacked flavor, but the sauce it was served in was fantastic! The server recommended the focaccia, which we were very pleased with; it was perfect for dipping into the squid sauce. The focaccia was super soft, drizzled with oil, and delicious. As for the gnocchi, I found it only okay, but my partner loved it and appreciated its crispy texture. The seafood pasta and branzino were good, but the fish really needed some salt to enhance its flavor, as it was rather bland. The pasta sauce was tasty, but the seafood could have used more...
Superb food, beautifully presented by a knowledgeable and personable hostess. We dined on calamari, focaccia, branzino, and pescatore. We had a glass or two of Pinot Grigio and Valpolicella which were ideal. The restaurant wasn't crowded but there is plenty of space. The ambiance is excellent with modern music playing at a non intrusive level. Washrooms are clean and accessible. There are a few steps to navigate to get in the restaurant, but it's worth it. I recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys quality Italian food served in a great environment.
Me and my fiancé went for dinner yesterday and had such an amazing experience. The food was great and had homemade Italian style flavours. One of our favourite things on the menu was the burrata and peaches salad it was so fresh and perfect for summer. Our waitress was so friendly we had great conversation. she was very accommodating to us and constantly checking on us to make sure that everything was cooked perfectly. Overall we had a great experience and we cannot wait to come back, I would definitely give this restaurant a five out of five.
On Wednesday Frank and all the staff hosted my sons 29th birthday . We were over 40 people. I called several days ahead and asked a million and one questions. All of them were answered with patience.The day of they helped us set up the restaurant and catered to our every need. The atmosphere, the staff , THE ENDLESS AMAZING FOOD was beyond top notch. I took my wife there as an anniversary treat. She loved it, and wants to return soon. Laura, our hostess, was attentive and friendly. We shared calamari and the focaccia for starters. I had the branzino with Siclian caponata and my good lady enjoyed the pescatore, fettuccine with tiger shrimp, scallops and calamari. The quality and service were superb, as was the ambiance. This is not an Italian restaurant, it is The Italian restaurant. We'll be back!
We came looking for a good steak and we were not disappointed at all. Probably one of the better steaks I have had in Mississauga—it was cooked to a perfect medium rare, it melted in your mouth, and the flavour was incredible. The side of the vegetables and potatoes were also delicious. Our waitress named Laura was so sweet and caring and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely come back!
Amazing service and food hit all cylinders! Flavoured to perfection in a beautiful clean atmosphere I will certainly bring my family back to this establishment. I ordered the fish and it was delicious complemented by amazing appetizers too! Highly recommend this establishment!
