This poor review is for the server that served us last night, not the food itself, which was quite good. I visit Sherbrooke a couple of times a year, as my fiancée's parents live here. I'd eaten at OMG a couple of years ago and it was quite good then, so when a friend suggested it for dinner last night, I was more than happy to eat there again. This time however, the experience was far from nice. It was a Wednesday night, so the restaurant was not full at all, only a couple of tables occupied on the patio, two guys at the inside bar, and two young ladies at the patio bar. The lone male server seemed quite friendly at first, giving my dining companion a free taste of two of the beers on tap....
We've been there about 12 times in the last three years. The look and vibes of the place, the live music on Thursday and Friday makes its an excellent destination as one the best lounge bar for after work drinks, entertainment. In the summer the terrasse is really cool and comfortable. The food... If you stick to their signature burgers and fries you'll get something good and original with home made ketchup. It's a little pricy but you get what you pay for (de luxe burgers with quality ingredients). The rest of the menu is a wildcard and I wouldn't recommend it . Totally irreverent and spectacular - what a scream! The old church is lit up in red, devil's horns decor and upside down red crosses will scare the faint of heart, but we were totally entertained by the fabulous vibe of this place. Was expecting high end dining, but was pleasantly surprised with the classy delish high end burgers and salads - (truffle ketchup anyone?) Super friendly attentive bilingual staff, fast service, eclectic clientele - this is my new fav place in Sherbrooke hands down. Next time I'm bringing the whole family!
We visit OMG every time we are in Sherbrooke. Food is terrific and ambiance is great. But this time service was abysmal. After 20 minutes, I had to go and see if someone would take our drink order. We waited a long time between our appetizers and main course. They started cleaning tables (as in folding up tables including dropping them noisily) while we were still eating. They simply didn't care that we were there. Normally I would recommend OMG without reservation. Next time I will consider another restaurant. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This restaurant was one of the best I've been too in a while. It is located within and old church with stained glass windows and high, pitched ceilings. The décor was amazing. There was a DJ playing music that was the perfect volume (not the blaring, headache-inducing volume that I am used to in the US).The burgers were very good. Presentation was nice too. Also, very reasonably priced. I would love to go again some day.
Really enjoyed our dinner at OMG. The ambience was fun and the service great. Dinner was a little slow in arriving, but the burgers were awesome. Would go again for sure.
Went for dinner in this former church with bell tower. Meals were good but prices were a little high. The way they have converted this church is outstanding.

We can here because we thought we were going to get an amazing burger. It was just OK and fell short of our expectations of greatness.
