The service at this restaurant was disappointing. We had to wait a long time to place our order, and although we tried to give the waitress the benefit of the doubt since she appeared to be the only one working, it became clear that she simply wasn't very good at her job. When we asked for recommendations, she said she had been there for many years but hadn't tried any of the dishes, and she couldn't even suggest the best-sellers. She also shouted at her coworkers from across the restaurant, which was unprofessional. I stop by here every once in a while after work for a carryout. It 's usually pretty yummy... Except tonight. I decided I was going to treat myself to a piece of Tres Leches cake, which is one of my favorite desserts. I 've never had it from here, though. Wow, it was horrible! I mean, I think it might have been good about a month ago, but it had an overwhelming been in the fridge waaaay too long flavor. The cream on the top was kind of slimy and the cake had a rubbery consistency. Came here late on a Friday night, and it was practically empty! The time to get your food was amazing and it tasted pretty good! I ordered a Coronanita and it was made great! The downfall comes to the bathroom that smelled worse than an outhouse! The smell of the bathroom was literally unbearable! If you're good at holding your breath or your bladder, please try this restaurant out. :
Below average food, corporate and dirty atmosphere. However, the worst was our server, who very obviously treated us differently than POC. While he was cordial with us, he was rude, short tempered and seemed annoyed with tables of minorities sitting around us. There are so many better options in the area. Avoid at all costs. It used to be bustling every time we visited. While I mentioned to my wife that the ambiance isn't as inviting as it was a few years ago, the food remains outstanding. Our waiter, Jeff, was fantastic. We had a wonderful birthday dinner—thank you!
Nice Mexican food near outlet mall. The food and service were excellent. Kids had their kids meal (cheese enchiladas and chicken burrito). We ordered Mexican grilled chicken and border smart chicken. It was flavourful and good portion size.
Truthfully we were trying to chilli's, by mistake we went to On The Border and that was a very great mistake. The food, service, atmosphere were all excellent I recommend the chicken queso with guacamole on top, rice and mixed vegetables.
