This Pub was very close to our hotel, so we tried it on our first night there.We were passing soon after it opened, so it was almost empty.There was an offer on, we got 2 small beers for €3.If it hadn't gotten busy very quickly, we would have stayed longer, but within 20 minutes, it was packed, so one drink is all we had.The staff were nice, but once it got busy, you could see that they had no time to talk.Lot's of backpackers and many locals.I didn't eat there, but the food I saw looked palatable, but not anything special.
Just had a nice evening around Paris and met some nice people from around the world in this pub. Just as I was about to leave, I got hit the face by another customer. As I asked for ice to chill my bruise, they said they were cling the police on me. Fortunately, I was faster and had already called the police.This is definitely not, how you treat customers. I am still taking care of my bruises about an hour later.
A great place to have a few drinks in the evening, at happy hour, big local beers are only 3 Euros - unbelievably good value for central Paris. Can get busy with lots of backpackers - but this adds to the atmosphere where you will meet lots of new and interesting people. Pizza ordered from the bar was tasty and again, very good value..
I spent a good deal of time at this bar during my stay in Paris. I would visit with the friends I met at my hostel, and then I would make new friends there. Music is too loud, the staff has no idea about how to manage a bar.Thanks to them the street is soiled with vomit, urine and cigarettes every morning. Customers and bar tenders seem to have absolutely no basic notions of respecting the locals who are living in the neighbourhood.
Great! If you want to get a little feeling of Paris at night it is a gooood place :)I am not a big fan of parties and I only wanted to talk with people... I had a great company :)And I reaaaly liked the barman with tattoos!! ;)
Attached to the Le Village Hostel in Montmarte next to the Sacre Coeur. Fun, relaxed 'pub' with English speaking staff and drink not priced at ridiculous Parisien prices.
met tons of people, both locals and travellers. it is associated/connected/linked with the hostel next door so i met a lot of travelling buddies in the pub! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Its really great place, when you can get good beer in good prices! They serve one of the best beer I have drunk in Paris.
