Have been a few times before but put off this time by a couple of things. We literally had to flag someone down to get waited on after about 10-15 minutes, it was busy but NOT crazy busy. Several service people kept passing us right by with zero acknowledgement. This was very annoying since service all around us looked very attentive Other issues: they brought out our appetizer same exact time as our salads, very limited bourbon selection, really CHEESY piano player playing very basic old fashioned music selections. We enjoyed the food, which was quite good, and the lakeside setting was lovely. However, the service left something to be desired. We arrived early at 6 pm when there weren’t many tables occupied, yet it took the server over five minutes to greet us. After finishing our main course, we had to wait a bit longer before the server checked in about dessert. When it was time to settle the bill, we experienced a delay in receiving the receipt to sign after handing over our credit card. Although the restaurant was getting busier, the wait for the receipt was still too long.
We drove by this restaurant several times and didn’t think much of it. The exterior is not special, however, we were impressed with the number of cars in the parking lot. So, we decided to try it out. It’s awesome! The food, the service, and the ambience were all great! Well worth a trip there.
We have visited this restaurant numerous times over the past decade. The food is consistently good, and the service is exceptional. My only complaint is that the menu has remained quite unchanged. While there are daily specials, I would appreciate more variety in the regular menu.

An exceptional meal from start to finish. The wedge and spinach salads were delicious, as were the lobster and local trout entrees. Ask for a table on the terrace overlooking the lake, for a truly lovely setting.
Was seated in the main dining room. A little warm. Service and food was exceptional. Was a Little amazed that there was a charge for Blue cheese olives in the $15 Martini
The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was delightful. The service was exceptional. I would recommend dining on the veranda to everyone I know.
