I want to start by saying that this place serves good coffee. However, the lack of stars in my review is due to the extremely poor customer service I experienced. When I walked in this afternoon, I was not greeted and instead, the employee stared at me as if I was an inconvenience. I asked about the number of shots of espresso in a drink, but was abruptly cut off before I could finish my question. This resulted in me having to ask her to repeat herself, which seemed to annoy her. When my drink was finally ready, I had to wait behind the counter for it.
I recently visited this coffee shop for the first time. The young woman working at the counter was pleasant and deserving of 4 stars. However, the older man, who I believe is the owner, was extremely rude. This was my interaction with him, and I don't think he should be in customer service. What is disappointing is that both he and the other shops on Main Street in Berlin are small businesses that we should be supporting. Perhaps Starbucks could open a coffee shop there instead? They are known for their customer service.
This coffee shop has so much charm. They have the tastiest beverages and treats. They have chocolate candy with old bay seasoning(so different, yet so good) chocolate dipped Oreos(to die for... figuratively of course) and did i forget to mention their fresh squeezed lemonade!? I tried the lavender flavor! Two thumbs up. Check this place out if you are in downtown Berlin! You won't be disappointed.
A small local cafe that has a good variety of hot and cold drinks. This cafe sells food, local candies, chocolates, baked goods, local art and on what grounds branded clothing. I used to work at this restaurant and the ambiance is pleasant. However, the owner, as many others have also noted, is extremely impolite. It's unclear what has caused this behavior, but it's fortunate that the restaurant is not doing well because he needs to improve his manners.
This cozy little cafe is my favorite spot to go to when we come to Berlin, Maryland. The food is displayed in cases so you can decide while waiting in line. I love the set up of the cafe, and I would definitely recommend coming here!
Enjoyed a coffee smoothie this morning. It was so delicious, I love this stores drinks and chocolates. They really have something for everyone too my daughter loved her minion twinky as well, can't wait to come visit again.

Delicious coffee and poppy seed cake! Service was friendly. Not too busy when i went, drink came out within a few minutes.
