My husband and I recently stayed in Lenox and we found Once Upon a Table on a site that shared places that accommodate gluten free dining. Since my husband is celiac, we felt it was worth a try. We had an early dinner reservation, arriving right at opening. Our server, Shanique, was wonderful. She was friendly and attentive, and also knowledgeable about celiacs. She assured us that the kitchen would be informed and would take measures to avoid contamination. They brought a warm, gluten free roll for my husband before the meal, along with my bread. I went here with great friends for a birthday celebration. We tried many of the plates, from the strawberry salad, to the lambchop lollipop, and the group had a variety of entrees. Everyone in our group of five loved the food they had ordered. Our group included a vegan and gluten free eater, and there were options for everyone. They even brought out special gluten free bread. The servers were efficient and friendly, and the hostess was amazing. Highly recommend!
My daughter remembered the dessert she had here last year so fondly (strawberry shortcake), that we decided to stop by again during our trip to the Berkshires this summer. We had a lovely dinner. The place is warm and welcoming, the staff attentive. Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. Once Upon A Table will be one of our must visits when in the area. Do make reservations though as they fill up quickly.
A real gem. This place is in a mews off of Main St. My wife and I had the boulibase which was generous and excellent. The other couple had mussels and a vegan dish which they both thoroughly enjoyed. Stellar service, lovely ambiance and delicious food. I had the baked Mac Cheese and recommend it. Enjoyed tiramisu for dessert and that was also delicious. The food is fresh and tastes like homemade. Keep in mind that it’s a tiny restaurant and so make reservations and plan accordingly. Can’t wait to return!
I was excited to try this place! But The staff answering the phone was so rude, I decided to cancel my reservation. There are restaurants that are more professional and kind in the area.
The vegetarian was awesome, as was the Mac and cheese(no bacon). Friendly staff, excellent food and cool atmosphere, what's not to like. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Hidden gem! Make a reservation! Delicious, fresh food and great service. Berkshires charm. Next to Red Lion Inn Definitely a must!
