Wir haben regelmäßig bei Onkel Toms auf unseren Wanderungen auf den Kitzbühelhorn Zwischenstopps eingelegt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell, und die Getränke und Speisen sind preiswert. Sie servieren eine große Auswahl an eiskalten alkoholfreien und alkoholischen Getränken sowie lokalem Eis - perfekt nach einem heißen Aufstieg. Wir hatten den Koasaburger, der ein großartiger Burger ist, abgesehen davon, dass das Brötchen etwas zu stark geröstet war. Der Burger war voller Würze und Geschmack. Sehr empfehlenswert dieser Ort.

Visited Onkel Tom's on the last day of our hols in St Johann and had a lovely portion of Topfenstrudel served with vanilla sauce (went mad at the hubby when he asked for custard lol). Prices reasonable, staff very pleasant and nice exterior seating area with beautiful views of the Wilder Kaiser. Just a pity they don't serve peppermint tea, which is my preferred afternoon refreshment on a hot summer's day, however the black tea washed the Torte down well.
We regularly stopped off at Onkel Toms on our hikes up the Kitzbuhlhorn. The service is very friendly and prompt, and the drinks and foods are inexpensive. They serve a wide range of iced cold non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, as well as local ice cream- perfect after a hot ascend. Da dies das einzige Restaurant an der Mittelstation (der Hauptgondelstation auf halber Höhe des Berges) ist, haben wir nichts davon erwartet. Dennoch war es ein schönes Holzchalet, freundlicher Service und ziemlich gutes Essen. Wenn Sie auf der Piste sind, ist dies ein guter Ort, um sich zum Mittagessen mit anderen zu verabreden.
Given that this is the only eatery at the middlestation (the main gondola station half way up the hill) we expected nothing from it. However it was a nice wooden chalet, friendly service and pretty decent food. If you are on the slopes this is a good spot to arrange to meet people for lunch
We enjoyed our stay to strengthen ourselves a bit with drinks and food. Facilities were good for our children too. Service was nice and the beer as well. But, we definitely did not enjoy the Germknödel. It was very bad. Don't try it.

Wir haben sie beim Abstieg gestoppt. Es war etwas enttäuschend. Das Personal war großartig, obwohl die Auswahl an Speisen begrenzt war. Vielleicht haben wir es an einem schlechten Tag erwischt?
