I recently dined in at this restaurant for lunch and was extremely impressed. The price per person was between $30 and $50, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, as each dish was delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was also top-notch, with attentive staff and quick service. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, earning another 5 out of 5 rating. I highly recommend trying the tacos, menudo rojo, consome con carne de barbacoa, and birria - they were all outstanding. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience and will definitely be returning in the future.
I have tried goat birria at other restaurants and have always been disappointed with my experience. However, this time I visited this restaurant and absolutely loved their goat birria. I always consider the price and portion size, and I was impressed with the almost 4 whole pieces of goat meat they provided. Additionally, they gave 6 flour tortillas for only $2, which was a great deal compared to other places. Unlike other restaurants where they give you mostly bones, this place served meat and I appreciated that. The atmosphere and music were also enjoyable. Overall, I would give the food a 5-star rating.
Onofre Restaurant makes an excellent 'birria de chivo ' Sonora style. The meat is very tender and the seasoning is on point; so on point that I only had to squeeze a little lime. I ordered three tacos in the smaller tortilla and it was more than enough; their portions are generous. I also have to mention that their spanish rice has that home made taste and it 's done right. The Onofre Restaurant serves a fantastic Sonora-style 'birria de chivo'. The meat is incredibly tender and the seasoning is perfect; I only needed to add a touch of lime. I ordered three tacos with the smaller tortillas and it was plenty of food; their portions are generous. The spanish rice also has a homemade taste and is prepared perfectly. The dining service was excellent.

I feel bad about my rating but the taste is not that good. Is just ok. The red barabacoa is good I like it . Pancita blanca is not my favorite but it's good. The food at this restaurant is delicious, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Be wary of impostors trying to use a similar name to claim this establishment as their own. The original restaurant had to move to a different location, but the food and quality have stayed consistent.
