I tried the vegan brunch dishes which included scrambled cauliflower, house fries, tempeh, and hollandaise. I appreciate having the option, but this dish exemplifies why some people believe vegan food is not satisfying. The dish consisted of two strange sweet tempeh pieces on a large serving of home fries with minimal cauliflower and bland hollandaise sauce. There was a lack of balance between protein, fat, and carbohydrates, and the dish lacked flavor. I ended up having to add ketchup and hot sauce to make it more enjoya...
I had dinner at this restaurant for the first time and the food was amazing! I have been coming here for their incredible breakfast for a long time. I was thrilled when they announced that they would be serving dinner as well. The quality of the breakfast gave me high expectations for dinner, and I was not disappointed. The Trout was the best fish I have ever tasted and the Pork Chop was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend both dishes. The staff is always friendly and the menu and food preparation are done by a very talented individual. I am sure this place will be packed once word gets out about their dinner hours.
We had a fantastic dining experience at Open Oven. The food was both delectable and distinct. Every dish we tried was made with fresh ingredients and filled with flavor. I especially loved their shrimp and grits. The service was excellent - attentive and friendly. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and the local area. We definitely plan on returning to Open Oven the next time we're in town. I highly recommend dining here.
This is THE place! The food was delicious but the real star was Mark! His customer service was phenomenal. It’s always so nice when the staff are exceptional as well as personable and friendly. Great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch with many options to choose from. Good sized servings (had the BLT sandwich) with a large serving of fries. Very reasonably priced, quick, and plenty of outside seating to enjoy the weather.
This restaurant is amazing! The food is the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are just right for the quality of the food. I highly recommend checking this place out. (Black Mountain Benny)
We had a tasty lunch at this eatery. It is a small eatery with inside and outside seating. Their house salad was good and chicken sandwich was fine. The French Fries were tasty but not hot. Sitting outside was nice.
Ordered Eggs Benedict but that’s not what I got. Instead I received a hard boiled egg on top of an English Muffin. Kitchen needs to learn how to poach an egg. Very disappointing after all the hype. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Enjoyed nice lunches outside on their patio. The salad was fresh and crisp. The Chicken sandwich was good but a bit messy to eat. French fries were tasty but not hot.
