O'petits Oignons - Tisch resevieren

We were desperately looking for a nice place for dinner at Capbreton, but all the restaurants recommended along the harbor and beach front looked like not worth a stop or even get out of the car. But by accident we've found this place, a bit hidden, though with a big car parking in front and we thought, let's give it a try. And this was definitely worth it. Within a couple of days we've been there a second time and yes, it's still a lovely place for a relaxed dinner. Service by the two ladies is nice, starters (fish carpaccio and fois gras) and main course (gambas) are awesome, only the cheese desert lacks some variety of cheese and is in desperate need of inspiration. We found this restaurant by accident tonight after having driven along the entire waterfront area, looking for a nice place for dinner. None of the places we saw from the car was appealing enough to get us out of the car and take a closer look, so we were already on our way back towards Hossegor. Then we passed this place an thought ‘looks nice, let’s give it a try’. Good decision! Food was very good, wine was really nice as well, and the service was also good. Try the gambas, they were excellent. We’ll definitely go back before we leave.
