Use to be a diner. Upon arriving I noticed the outside of restaurant needs updating. Almost left by judging a book by its cover. We're we're seated immediately by a very pleasant young lady. We received our drinks quickly. They brought us some umm,i thinkbread, with balsamic vinaigrette . The bread was not soft of of funny texture we did not eat it after a bite. We order friedcalamari shrimp with chili mayo dip.it was different but good My granddaughter order the grilled scallops(3)and shrimp(4) withveggies and rice.she said it was very good.it looked good. My friend and I ordered the seafood newburgh. There was plenty ofseafood over penne pasta.it looked good....unfortunately the whole dish...
This place was outstanding. I had seen photos before and thought it was interesting. The atmosphere was easy going. I started with the mushroom bisque and lamb samosas. Well if that's how I was to start my dinner..... The main course I had the duck and my wife ordered mango chicken. For dessert I had blueberry cheesecake, wife had poached pears in a red wine sauce. Wow... I don't know how to put my experience into words. It was amazing. Each bite of food had an array of complementary flavors. You tasted every bite, the pallette did not fatigue and the food did not get boring at all. Take note, if you want to eat and leave, this is NOT the place. I was there almost 3 hours. We ordered fried calamari and shrimp with a chili mayo dip. It was different but enjoyable. My granddaughter chose the grilled scallops (three) and shrimp (four) with vegetables and rice, and she said it was very good; it looked appealing as well. My friend and I went for the seafood Newburgh, which was plentiful with seafood over penne pasta. It appeared to be delicious, but unfortunately, the entire dish was ruined for us—the flavor was overwhelmingly dominated by what we suspected was nutmeg or cinnamon. From the outside it looks like an old diner (which it probably was once). Once inside it has a very modern motif with a bar. There is a hint of curry in the air. There is lots of nice seating. The staff was very curious and polite. The menu has all kinds of options but it's not huge. The is no defined category of cuisine they serve. They have all kinds of dishes but have a good amount of vegan options. Also gluten free. The food we ordered was fantastic. Great value for the price. Overall a great place to eat in Newburgh. We went for the first time for dinner and the food was delicious and the presentation was lovely. The restaurant is very spacious and clean, ample parking. We decided to go a second time, but for brunch. We didn't know they offered a buffet style brunch, and we were pleasantly surprised. The buffet was pretty big with a great variety of food to choose from. I think the price of fair for what they offer. The service is friendly as well.
The restaurant has a clean and modern atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff. The beverage menu offered fantastic choices. I tried the Passion of Bombay and now I’m inspired to recreate it at home! The Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich was excellent, and the chocolate and coffee dome was simply delicious. I really wish I could stay longer to explore more of the menu!
The food is really good, very flavorful and a very good variety of choices. It was actually kind of difficult to make a choice, but I will definitely return so that I can try more things. I can't say enough about how delicious the meals were. The service was great, everything was timed perfectly.
